Today, information technology is incredibly commonplace, but computing science, the field that gave rise to it, is becoming less and less accessible. Some computer science educational institutions still emphasize the pure science that underlies the various facets of computing, even though many have moved their emphasis from core computer science to becoming specialty providers for the IT industry, or if you’ll pardon me, these mass producers of vocationally trained personnel. This is the one and only most significant feature of the education provided here. Our department has stuck to the mission upon which it was established.
The standard foundation of computer science can be presented in a number of ways. We have over time created a unique approach and style that crosses the gap between theory and practice while staying.
