Introduction about the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering:

IPS Academy, Institute of Engineering & Science, was established in the year 1999, with Electronics and Communication Engineering branch having an intake of 60 students. To fulfill the growing demand of industry-ready professionals, B.Tech. (E.C.) intake was increased from 60 to 90 and further to 120 students (2005) via approval from AICTE, New Delhi. To meet research requirements, in the year 2007, the Department got support for starting ME Degree Program (Specialization- ECE). Under Graduation Program at Department accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) New Delhi during 2017- 2020.

Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is committed to teaching Engineering students with latest Communication Technologies covering Optical Cellular Communication, Next Generation Networks, Microwave, and RADAR Engineering, DSP, VLSI design and Embedded Systems, Robotics, etc. within the framework of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, Technical University of M.P.

The Department has qualified faculty members, more than ten well-equipped laboratories, and a Departmental Library facility to provide exposure to students to meet global challenges. The Department regularly organizes Seminars and Workshops on Advanced Communication subjects and invites guest speakers to deliver talks.
