IPS Academy, Institute of Engineering & Science, Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized a National Level tech-fest ‘ENVISAGE-19’ on October 19, 2019.Legendary author Dr. E. Balabusursamy & Dr. Shrikrishna Gupta were the chief guest and guest of honor respectively.
Prof. E. Balagurusamy is currently the Chairman of EBG Foundation, Coimbatore. He has authored 42 books & received 26 prestigious awards. He also served as a Vice Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai, IT Adviser of Government of Andhra Pradesh, Member of Planning Commission, Tamil Nadu, Member of Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi, Chairman of Consortium for Educational Communications, New Delhi.
Topic of the seminar was “Essential attributes of software development”. The main objective of this seminar was to enable participants to gain practical insight into building real life software application.
‘ENVISAGE-19’ included technical as well as non-technical events like Seminar of Dr. E. Balagurusamy, Dazzle Coding ,Technical Quiz on C/C++, Robo Race, Treasure hunt on web, Gaming(FIFA/CS Go), Technical paper presentation, Open Mic, , Meme creation, Short film making. More than 1800 students from various Engineering colleges participated in this landmark event.
