Special Awards

1.  National Water Conference 2026: Students Mr. Nikhil Kumar Vyas, Mr. Mahendra Singh Thakur, Mr. Yugendra Samdariya, Mr. Apoorv Jaiswal, and Mr. Dheeraj Patidar secured Third Prize at the National Water Conference 2026, organized by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore on 24 March 2026, for their innovative research projects on water quality assessment, groundwater quality, and river rejuvenation using geospatial analysis, remote sensing, GIS, and QGIS.
2. National Civil/Structural Engineering Students Awards Competition 2025: Students Mr. Chandra Prakash Pandey, Mr. Manas Vishwakarma, and Mr. Siddhant Shukla qualified for the Final Evaluation Round of the National Civil/Structural Engineering Students Awards Competition for Best Innovative Structural Steel Design, organized by the Institute for Steel Development and Growth, for their project titled “Cost-Effective and Innovative Steel Roof Structure of a Land Port Building.”
3. National Civil/Structural Engineering Students Awards Competition 2025: Students Mr. Yugendra Samdariya, Ms. Anshika Gupta, Mr. Mohammad Saif, and Mr. Yuvraj Singh participated in the preliminary zonal-level evaluation of the National Civil/Structural Engineering Students Awards Competition for Best Innovative Structural Steel Design for their project titled “Cost-Effective and Innovative Steel Roof Structure of a Land Port Building.”
4. Energy Swaraj Initiative (2025–2026): Mr. Nikhil Vyas participated in the Energy Swaraj initiative associated with IIT Bombay and the Energy Swaraj Foundation, promoting solar energy awareness and sustainability.
5. PMAY-Gramin, Government of Madhya Pradesh: Students Mr. Nikhil Kumar Vyas, Mr. Mahendra Singh Thakur, Mr. Sagar Ivanti, Mr. Mohammad Saif, and Mr. Rajesh Kirade participated in the Summer Internship Training Programme conducted from 3 June to 31 July 2025 at the Research Advisory Wing of the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal.
6. Youth for My Bharat / Youth for Digital Literacy: Students Mr. Himanshu Thorat, Mr. Divyanshu Chaturvedi, Mr. Tejas Bedre, and Mr. Piyush participated in NSS activities held at Bawaliya Khurd, Indore, from 11 to 17 January 2026, focusing on youth engagement and digital literacy.
7. National Seminar on Emerging Applications of Geosynthetics and Drone Technologies: Mr. Nikhil Vyas participated in the national seminar on emerging applications of geosynthetics and drone technologies in modern construction projects, held at IIT Indore from 6 to 8 December 2025.
8. Building Bharat Sampark Innovation Boot Camp: Mr. Nikhil Vyas participated in the Building Bharat Sampark Innovation Boot Camp held at IIT Gandhinagar from 17 to 19 December 2025.
9. Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Mr. Anshu Jain, Mr. Krishna Gangarde, Ms. Omanshi Rathore, and Ms. Yashu Yadav secured Second Position in the state-level “URJOSTAV” Technical Quiz Competition, held on 25 March 2025 at Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research, Indore.
10. Ms. Omanshi Rathore and Ms. Yashu Yadav; Ms. Manya Madhu; and Mr. Anshu Jain and Mr. Krishna Gangarde presented their research projects at the 10th Indian Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference, held at IIT Indore on 11–12 March 2025. Their projects covered biochar characterization for concrete, rainfall–runoff estimation and groundwater assessment, and numerical modelling of slope stability at Jam Gate Hill, Khargone.
11. Ms. Omanshi Rathore, Ms. Yashu Yadav, Mr. Prateek Morya, Mr. Adish Jain, and Ms. Manya Madhu secured Third Position at the state level in the Waste Management category at the SRIJAN 2025 Project Competition, organized by RGPV, Bhopal, under the MP Innovate initiative on 10–11 May 2025.
12. Mr. Nikhil Vyas participated in the Environmentalist Foundation of India’s Indians for India Awards, Green Citizenship Indore Edition, on 1 June 2025, reflecting his engagement with environmental awareness and sustainability.
13. Mr. Mohit Singh Tawar, Mr. Dheeraj Patidar, Mr. Janmajay Maru, Mr. Yash Mishra, and Mr. Ajay Patidar received the B Certificate in recognition of their participation in National Social Service activities associated with the programme held on 21 October 2024 at Shree Ram, Talawali, Dhar Road.
14. State-Level Volleyball Achievement: Ms. Anshika Gupta emerged as a winner in the state-level volleyball competition organized at VNS, Bhopal, during the 2024–2025 academic year. She also participated in a national-level volleyball competition at Shri Kushal Das University, Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.
15. Mr. Keshav Sharma secured First Position at the state level in the 400-metre running event held at JIT Borawan during the 2024–2025 academic year. He also participated in the national-level 400-metre running event at KIIT, Bhubaneswar.
16. Ms. Manya Madhu participated in the Kathak dance event at the 50th Khajuraho Dance Festival, held on 19–20 February 2025, which was associated with a Guinness World Record for the largest Kathak dance performance.
17. UltraTech Shining Star Competition: Ms. Shatakshi Sharma, Mr. Aryan Chouhan, Ms. Priyanka Lilhare, Ms. Omanshi Rathore, Ms. Yashu Yadav, and Ms. Manya Madhu reached the final round of the UltraTech Shining Star Competition, organized by UltraTech in Indore on 12 March 2024.
18. RGPV State-Level Sports Competition – Basketball: Ms. Priyanka Lilhare participated in the state-level basketball competition organized at MITS, Gwalior, on 1 February 2024.
19.  Ms. Shatakshi Sharma and Mr. Aashish Tomar presented their research work titled “A Study on Risks Associated with Construction” at the NESDRI-2023 International Conference, held at IPS Academy, Indore, on 8–9 September 2023.
20.  Ms. Priyanka Lilhare, Ms. Urvashi Sen, Mr. Ansh Jain, Mr. Vikas Rathi, Ms. Khushi Patidar, and Ms. Apoorva Mahashabde reached the final evaluation round of the National Civil/Structural Engineering Students Awards Competition for Best Innovative Structural Steel Design, organized by the Institute for Steel Development and Growth from 20 to 23 April 2024, with their project related to a Steel Intensive Trade Fair Centre.
21. Ms. Priyanka Lilhare participated in the nodal-level athletics and Kho-Kho competitions held at JIT Borawan from 22 to 24 November 2024.
22.  Ms. Anshika Gupta participated in a national-level volleyball competition held at Gyansagar College, Sagar, on 25 March 2024.
23. Ms. Anshika Gupta emerged as the winner in the state-level volleyball competition organized at VNS Institute, Bhopal, during the 2023–2024 academic year.
